In this article, I’ll share some examples of nail tip adjustments♡
Baby Round Shape
This is an example of the Baby Round Shape with just the thumb tip adjusted to give the end a slightly rounder shape.
If you have naturally small nails, sometimes the thumb tip can look a little too large compared to the rest of your nails. In this case, rounding the thumb slightly can help balance the overall look and make it appear more natural♡
Kawaii Oval
For this Kawaii Oval shape, I shortened the thumb tip slightly and filed the sides near the tip to create a slimmer look.
Kawaii Oval naturally has a soft, rounded tip, but it can also be shaped a little narrower like this if you prefer a more slim and delicate look.
Princess Almond Shape
Princess Almond Shape has a stronger curve than the other shapes.
In this example, I used heat to gently flatten only the index finger tip, making it easier to fit a flatter natural nail.
Since heat adjustment can slightly change the original shape of the tip, applying it to every nail may change the overall look of the shape. However, adjusting just one or two tips usually blends in naturally with the rest of the set. If only certain nails need a flatter curve, please feel free to ask about this adjustment.
Classic Round
This is an example of a Classic Round tip that has been shortened and reshaped into a coffin shape.
Classic Round naturally has a gentler curve, making it easier to fit flatter natural nails. It can also be reshaped at the tip into styles such as a coffin or almond shape, depending on the look you prefer♡
If you like a particular nail tip shape but would prefer it a little shorter, slimmer, or less curved, I can make small adjustments whenever possible to better suit your nails and preferences.
