Inspirations for Kira Kira Kimono Nails👘✨

Inspirations for Kira Kira Kimono Nails👘✨

Between January and February, in Japan, there are more occasions to wear kimono, such as New Year’s and the Coming of Age Ceremony👘💕

During this time, I often feel a strong admiration for traditional Japanese patterns.

For this design, I incorporated the traditional “Asanoha” (hemp leaf) pattern into the nails.

The Asanoha pattern is commonly used in Japanese kimono, and when paired with sparkling nails, it creates a very cute and charming effect.

This design is entirely hand-painted. It took time because I carefully aimed for accurate and beautiful lines.

The glitter and hologram sheets peek through the spaces of the Asanoha pattern, giving the design a sense of depth.

Additionally, no traditional Japanese design is complete without sakura (cherry blossoms). I added many sakura flowers, each hand-crafted using 3D acrylic powder.

These flowers have a beautiful three-dimensional effect that you can’t find in ready-made parts.

I carefully arranged them to look like real cherry blossoms blooming on the fingertips.

To enhance the scene, I added small butterfly parts to evoke the image of butterflies gathering around the sakura.

A key feature of this design is the “mizuhiki” (decorative cords) placed on the middle and ring fingers.

Normally, I tend to use bows as main elements, but for this design, I wanted to embrace a more traditional Japanese style, so I chose mizuhiki.

Mizuhiki is a traditional Japanese decoration, and the way it is tied carries different meanings.

This specific tie is called the “four-leaf knot,” which is considered a lucky knot that symbolizes the fulfillment of wishes.

Additionally, I added a moon magical wand to further symbolize the fulfillment of wishes, giving the design a slightly magical atmosphere🌙🪄

Puku Puku Nails specialize in combining various elements to create cute and harmonious designs.

I believe this design showcases that expertise beautifully♡

This design is scheduled to launch on our online store in the shop update on December 22nd☺️
