Light-Up Nails ☆ Description & Important Notes

In this article, I explain how Light-Up Nails work, how to make them glow, and important points to check before purchasing.

How Do Light-Up Nails Work?

Light-Up Nails are created by embedding LED chips inside the nail tips. These chips react with NFC-enabled devices, such as smartphones, causing the magic capsule part to light up💡

What is NFC?

NFC (Near Field Communication) is a short-range wireless communication technology that operates at 13.56MHz. It is commonly used for smartphone contactless payments.

If your smartphone supports tap-to-pay, it is likely NFC-enabled.

Important Notes Before Purchasing

If you are considering purchasing Light-Up Nails, please make sure that your smartphone supports NFC.

Please also note that even if your device is NFC-compatible, the LED chip may not always light up due to compatibility differences.

For example, during testing:

iPhone 8 Plus → Did not light up

 iPhone 15, 16 → Successfully lit up

All LED chips are tested before shipping, but I cannot guarantee 100% compatibility with all NFC-enabled smartphones. Please understand this before purchasing.

If you are unsure about compatibility, I also offer a non-LED version (-$20). You can select this option when placing your order.

How to Light Up the Nails

(Using iPhone 15 as an Example)

① Place the nail near the top of the phone, around the camera area

② Press power button

The LED will light up for about one second.

The strongest glow occurs at the moment the device is powered on☆

So cute♡

It also lights up when placed around payment touch panels at train station gates and vending machines.

Enjoy your light up nails in different places! ☆
